Hello Scholars and Parents!
My name is Ms. Benavides and I'm your Math teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. I'm so excited to work with you and your child this year. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and math is one of my favorite subjects. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so my students develop a desire to become critical thinkers and life-long learners. My intent is to make learning fun and engaging by applying math to real-world situations.

I graduated from CSULA with a BA in Mathematics and a Masters in Education. I live in Hesperia, California, with my husband and my fur baby Minnie. I'm Salvadoran and Mexican and I love to travel and try new foods. I'm an introvert and I like structure and organization, which is what I also apply to my class. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is important to keep communication between us. I'm looking forward to a great year together!
